While visually similar to the PASGT, the LWH offers superior ballistic protection at a lighter weight (historically speaking). This specific helmet was manufactured in July 2007 and retains its pristine rough-textured exterior finish. Inside, it features the improved 4-point retention system with the iconic USMC Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) stamped into the leather nape pad.
