Description

For sale is a great piece of military pop culture from 1991: a set of three vintage action figures from the "America's Heroes" Desert Storm line. This set features the complete triad of US leadership from the Gulf War:

President George Bush (Commander in Chief)
General H. Norman Schwarzkopf (Commander, Operation Desert Storm)
General Colin Powell (Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff)

Condition Notes: The figures themselves are in very good, unused condition with bright paint and their original accessories. However, please note that the original cardboard packaging and plastic blister bubbles show significant signs of long-term storage in a box. The plastic bubbles are somewhat dirty/yellowed from age. Due to the age of the glue, the figures do not stick to the base. Despite the packaging flaws, this remains a fantastic display piece for any Gulf War historian or vintage toy collector. All attached photos are authentic and accurately depict the exact items you will receive. Condition: Figures in very good condition (unused), packaging shows storage wear (The figures do not stick to the base due to the age of the glue, dirty plastic).

A highly collectible piece of US surplus history: Original 1974 ALICE Pack Medium LC-1. 1974 was the very first year of production for the ALICE system, making this pack much rarer than the common 1980s versions. It features the period-correct black aluminum frame. The pack carries the original owner's name and showcases a genuine "field expedient repair": the waist belt (kidney pad) is secured with wire where the original turnbuckle/nut was lost. A true survivor with undeniable character.
