These were part of the limited field trials conducted by Stryker Brigades (2nd and 25th Infantry Divisions) in 2003-2004, directly influencing the design of the future ACU. The tag confirms the nomenclature "TROUSERS, COMBAT UNIFORM (CU)" and the 2004 contract date. Features the distinct slanted cargo pockets with velcro closures and lower leg pockets. A massive, one-of-a-kind historical artifact: Presentation Leadership Plaque awarded to Brigadier General Rudolf "Rudi" F. Peksens (Director J5, US SOUTHCOM) in 1995. This heavy wooden board (approx. 76 x 55 cm) symbolizes the Joint Command nature by featuring four distinct blades representing the service branches: An M7 Bayonet (Army), a Ka-Bar Utility Knife (USMC), a Jet Pilot Survival Knife (USAF), and a U.S. Navy Mark 3 Mod 0 Knife (Navy). Includes dedication plate and service coins.
