Description

A pristine example of Soviet winter warfare gear from the Stalin era.

  • History: Unlike common 1980s surplus, this set bears the ink stamp "1953r", manufactured by the "Kokhomskaya Sewing Artel".

  • Design: Designed to be worn over heavy winter clothing (like the Telogreika). Features pass-through slits on the jacket and trousers to access pockets/gear underneath.

  • Completeness: Includes the often-missing three-finger shooting mittens and the original storage pouch.

  • Material: Heavyweight white cotton meant to blend into snow.

  • Size: Stamped 56 / 2. Designed for a large chest (approx 44") and short/medium height, but the fit is intentionally baggy.
