A nostalgic slice of West German history! Up for sale is an interesting mixed lot of German patches, ranks, and insignia dating from the Cold War era (1960s–1980s). This collection includes genuine West German Army (Bundeswehr) items, such as wool career trade patches, infantry shoulder straps, and a sports suit patch. It also features early Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB - German Federal Railway) official shoulder boards and uniform wreath patches, along with a DLRG (Lifesaving Society) emblem. Most items are in excellent, unissued New Old Stock condition. Perfect for collectors of German civil and military service memorabilia!

Lot Includes:

  • Bundeswehr (Army) Section: Pair of grey wool infantry shoulder straps with green piping (Waffenfarbe). 4x round wool sleeve qualification patches (Laufbahnabzeichen) including Staff of Asclepius (Medical), Caduceus (Administration), Gothic letter "L" (Lehrbataillon), and Gothic letter "A" (Artillery). Triangle sports track suit patch.

  • Deutsche Bundesbahn (Federal Railway) Section: Pair of dark blue shoulder boards with gold tress for railway officials. 5x black cap/sleeve wreath patches with various monograms (including the iconic "DB" and rail association "BSW").

  • DLRG Section: Black patch featuring a golden wreath and eagle for the German Lifesaving Society.
