A classic piece of Cold War era field gear. This is an original Bundeswehr Snow Camouflage Suit (Schneetarnanzug)made of heavy cotton, dating back to the mid-1960s.

• Size: The label indicates size 165/104, designed for a soldier approx. 165 cm tall with a 104 cm chest (worn over kit).

• Provenance: Manufactured by Marquardt & Schulz in November 1966 (11/66).

• Design: Two-piece set (Parka & Trousers) featuring the distinctive pine-needle green blotches on a white background. Since it is made of cotton, it is quieter and more breathable than modern synthetic suits.

• Condition: Lightly used, very good condition. No major stains or tears, buttons intact.
