This is the classic tactical Subdued version (black embroidery on Olive Drab twill) used extensively on combat uniforms like the Woodland BDU, OG-107, and M-65 field jacket. Authentic NCO history for your collar.

  • Usage: The Staff Sergeant (E-6) rank is the backbone of the infantry squad. Subdued cloth ranks were standard issue to maintain camouflage discipline in the field, sewn onto both points of the collar.

  • Design: The insignia consists of three upward-pointing chevrons and one lower rocker. High-quality black embroidery on a durable OD green background.

  • Condition: Used Military Surplus (Uniform Removed). These patches have seen real active duty. The edges are naturally folded and creased from being previously sewn onto a collar, which makes them incredibly easy to re-attach to your vintage uniform project while maintaining perfect historical accuracy.
