Personalize your vintage loadout with authentic history! Up for sale is a genuine US Army name tape featuring the name "MARTIN". This is an early 1970s variant, distinctively embroidered on coarse, woven nylon webbing rather than standard cotton twill. In the tactical Subdued (OD/Black) colorway, this tape was carefully removed from a decommissioned uniform and displays an excellent, authentic patina. Perfect for restoring an OG-107 shirt, early M-65, or if your name happens to be Martin!

A personalized piece of the 1970s US Army.

  • Era & Usage: Worn above the right breast pocket, this name tape utilizes the rugged woven nylon base characteristic of the early-to-mid 1970s (the immediate post-Vietnam transition period to fully subdued insignia).

  • Construction: The name "MARTIN" is boldy embroidered in black thread onto an Olive Drab nylon web strap. The reverse side shows the authentic stitching pattern and folded edges from its previous life on a uniform.

  • Condition: Used Military Surplus (Uniform Removed). This is a field-worn item with a great "salty" look. It was neatly detached, leaving the folded ends intact and ready to be sewn onto your next restoration project.
