Description

This listing is for a genuine USGI Headband, Helmet Liner. This essential component attaches to the suspension webbing inside the M1 helmet liner. This is the Vietnam War era and post-war style, featuring durable OD Green Nylon webbing on the outside and genuine leather on the inside for comfort. It is superior to the earlier all-leather versions which were prone to rot. It comes complete with six black oxide steel clips to attach to the liner suspension. The headband is fully adjustable via a buckle. Condition is NOS (New Old Stock). The leather is pristine, supple, and clean—perfect for restoring a vintage helmet to wearable condition.

The strap consists of two halves; each half threads through the side loops of the ALICE frame and secures back onto itself using metal rings and a snap fastener.
