Description

Up for sale is a true holy grail of military composite history: a genuine US Army PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) Helmet. This is not a commercial reproduction. It is an original early production contract piece from the very beginning of the Kevlar helmet era. This specific helmet is from the desirable early 1983 contract (DLA100-83-C-4223). Manufactured by the premier government contractor, GENTEX Corporation. The helmet is in breathtaking, unissued New Old Stock (Deadstock / NOS) condition. The internal leather suspension, nylon webbing, and hardware are clean, crisp, and functional. There are no signs of use or wear. Complete with the original Woodland pattern camouflage cover.
