Description

A museum-grade piece of history from Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm. This is an original shirt issued to the Czechoslovak Independent Chemical Defense Battalion, deployed to the Gulf in 1990.

Insignia: The shirt features the distinct red and yellow shoulder arc reading "CZECHOSLOVAKIA" in English, specifically designed for coalition interoperability. Below it is the diamond-shaped unit patch with the national flag and wings.
Provenance: Manufactured by the Zornica textile factory in Bánovce nad Bebravou.
Condition: The item is in New Old Stock (NOS) condition, never worn, crisp and clean. A rare find from the very end of the Cold War era.
