A hard-to-find collector's piece: The Special Forces / Paratrooper variant of the standard Czech vz. 85 field jacket. Unlike the infantry version, this jacket is designed for jump operations: it lacks lower front pockets to accommodate the parachute harness and features distinctive rear pockets on the lower back. Manufactured by OZKN Prešov. Condition is Unissued / NOS. Size 180/106.

Description

Designed for the "Red Berets" of the Czechoslovak Army.

  • Paratrooper Modifications: The deletion of hip pockets prevents snagging on leg straps. The unique rear pockets were used to stow soft gear like shelter halves or caps.
