Genuine early Cold War era long underwear from the Czechoslovak People's Army (ČSLA). Dated 1950. Made of heavy cotton rib knit with tie-waist closure. Size marked IV (Measured Waist 41" / 104cm). Excellent vintage condition.

Description

A rare piece of personal equipment from the early 1950s. Unlike the common polyester-mix gear from the 80s, these are made from high-quality natural materials.

  • Design: Features the traditional adjustable tie-waist (no elastic to degrade over time) and ribbed ankle cuffs. Designed to be worn under wool trousers.

  • Markings: Stamped with the manufacturer "TEMA" and size "IV".

  • Size: This is a generous size. Measured waist is 104 cm (approx. 41 inches) and total length is 105 cm.

  • Condition: Unissued / Storage condition. Clean and wearable or displayable.
