Czech Army 1950s "Dubaky" Camo Smock | Rare Unmodified w/ Mittens | Sumpftarn
Description
A holy grail for Cold War camouflage collectors. This is an original Czechoslovak Army (ČSLA) Summer Camouflage Smock in the distinctive "Dubáky" pattern from the early 1950s.
-
The "Uncut" Rarity: This jacket is exceptionally rare because it is unmodified. It retains the original integrated mitten covers at the end of the sleeves. Most surviving examples have had these mittens cut off by soldiers. Finding one intact is very difficult.
-
Pattern: The camouflage is colloquially known as "Dubáky" and is a direct derivative of the WWII German Wehrmacht Sumpftarn (Marsh Camo), featuring geometric shapes in green and reddish-brown.
-
Design: Designed as a lightweight over-garment (smock) with chest slits for accessing internal uniform pockets.
-
Condition: The item is in very nice vintage condition, with strong colors and intact fabric.
