A classic piece of Cold War militaria: The Bundeswehr Gravity Knife (Fallschirmjäger-Messer) used by the German LL-Truppe (Airborne Troops). This is the Type II (1963 pattern) featuring durable olive drab polymer scales. This specific example is manufactured by WMF, a rare and highly sought-after contractor compared to the standard Eickhorn models. Marked "BUND" on the handle.
The classic Bundeswehr Kampfmesser (Combat Knife), standard issue to German forces during the Cold War era. Often mistaken for a bayonet due to its profile, this is a dedicated field knife. The handle is made of durable olive drab polymer and features the molded "BW" (Bundeswehr) marking. It comes complete with its original metal scabbard and leather belt frog. Condition is Used / Surplus, showing authentic wear and paint loss on the scabbard.
