Description
This is a small but pristine piece of Cold War gear. An original US Military Issue Whistle, dated 1981. Manufactured by J.G.B., marked clearly on the side. Constructed of durable plastic to prevent freezing to lips in cold weather. Condition:NOS / Unissued. The most unique feature is the presence of the original paper insert inside the mouthpiece. This was used at the factory to secure the cork ball during shipping and proves the whistle has never been blown. Includes the original lanyard.
