Description

You correctly spotted the difference – this is not standard M81 Woodland. This is the highly collectible RDF (Rapid Deployment Force) uniform, produced in the transition period of 1979. The camouflage pattern is ERDL Class 2 (Highland), characterized by smaller shapes and more intricate edges than the later M81 pattern. Constructed from 100% Cotton Ripstop Poplin, this fabric is prized for its comfort and breathability compared to later 50/50 blends. This explains the "green" interior hue typical of poplin dyes. The Set Includes:

  • Coat: Ultra-rare X-Large Regular size. DLA dated 1979.

  • Trousers: Medium Regular size. DLA dated 1979. Features the "straight pocket" BDU configuration but retains the soul of the Vietnam-era fabric and print. A must-have for serious camo collectors.
