Original US Army LC-1 ALICE Pistol Belt (Metal Buckle) | Size Large
Description
The workhorse foundation of the ALICE system.
-
ALICE System: The LC-1 pistol belt is the core of the All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) introduced in 1973. It is covered in grommets designed to accept standard ALICE slide clips or older M1910 wire hangers.
-
Metal Hardware (LC-1): Unlike the later LC-2 model which utilizes a plastic quick-release Fastex buckle, the LC-1 features the distinct and highly durable interlocking metal buckle and metal adjustment clamps.
-
Condition: Used, but in great shape. The heavy nylon webbing is solid with no damage. The blackened metal hardware shows honest field wear with a nice underlying brassy patina. The original instructional tag is faded but remains legible.
-
Sizing (Large): The tag reads "Waist 30 inches or over". It offers massive adjustability using the side clamps. It will comfortably fit waists from about 80 cm (31.5 inches) up to a maximum length of roughly 130 - 135 cm (approx. 51 to 53 inches).
