A serious collector's piece from the dawn of US desert ops! Up for sale is a genuine U.S. Army 6-color desert camouflage "Chocolate Chip" DBDU coat. This is not your standard Desert Storm era piece, but a highly sought-after 1st contract from 1981. The coat is fully badged, named to a Staff Sergeant Gomez, and features 3rd Army patches on both sleeves. Made from durable NYCO twill. In the perfect, highly wearable size Medium Regular.

The holy grail of U.S. desert camouflage.

  • Material & Pattern: Features the iconic 6-Color Desert pattern. It is made of the heavy-duty 50% Nylon / 50% Cotton twill typical of early 1980s BDU production.

  • Insignia: The collar displays subdued Staff Sergeant (E-6) rank chevrons. Above the chest pockets are the "GOMEZ" and "U.S. ARMY" name tapes. Both shoulders feature the subdued "A" patch of the 3rd Army.

  • Condition: Used / Vintage. Shows honest field wear but remains in excellent collector's condition. The interior is clean, and the original contract and sizing labels are perfectly legible.
