A fantastic example of a "soldier-modified" beret from the Cold War era.

The Flash: Features a vintage Cut Edge (Thin Border) flash. A clear "ghost mark" is visible in the center where the Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) was pinned for years, adding to its authenticity.
Field Modification: The inner lining has been removed. This was a standard practice among seasoned troops to make the beret lay flat and conform better to the head (the "Low Profile" look).
Size: A rare wearable size 7 1/4 (approx. 58 cm).
