A true Desert Storm legend! Up for sale is a genuine 2-piece US combat uniform (DBDU) set in the iconic 6-Color Desert camouflage, famously known as "Chocolate Chip". The coat features a crisp US Marine Corps (EGA) stencil on the left chest pocket. Both pieces are contract-dated to 1990 and made from ultra-durable NYCO twill (50% Cotton / 50% Nylon). Sizes for taller/larger builds: Coat is Large - Extra Long, Trousers are Extra Large - Long. Unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition, though the trousers show some storage stains from decades of warehousing.

Description

Iconic Marine gear from the Gulf War.

  • History: The 6-Color Desert pattern became globally recognized during the Middle East conflicts in the early 1990s. With 1990 contract dates, this set places you right in the Operation Desert Shield/Storm era. The stamped USMC Eagle, Globe, and Anchor makes the top highly sought-after.

  • Construction: Standard BDU layout. The coat features 4 bellows pockets, reinforced elbows, and a button front. The trousers feature a 6-pocket design, reinforced knees and seat, adjustable waist tabs, and drawstring cuffs.

  • Condition: Unissued military surplus (New Old Stock). The fabric is crisp with vibrant, unwashed colors. Please Note: The trousers have some yellowish storage stains on the front from decades in a warehouse (see photos). Priced accordingly.
