A pristine, complete US Marine Corps Officer's Summer Service (Khaki) uniform set. Custom-tailored in 1962 for a USMC Captain. Includes the tunic, trousers, shirt, and a 1970-dated tropical wool tie. Highly desirable, wearable size (Pants 36x33, Jacket approx. 41). Excellent condition. Sold as a complete set only.

A superb grouping with bespoke tailoring and likely Marine Aviation history.

  • Tunic & Trousers: Custom made by the renowned Pearlman's Uniforms in Charleston, S.C.. Both pieces feature personalized tailor tags naming Capt. J. L. Richards and are dated March 1962 (3/62).

  • The Shirt: Features a label from Ed White's, Pensacola - Corpus Christi. As these are the premier Naval Aviation training bases, it heavily implies the Captain was a Marine Aviator.

  • The Tie: Genuine US Military issue "Necktie, Wool Tropical Khaki" dated 1970.

  • Sizing: Exceptionally large for the era. Trousers are stamped 36 x 33 (approx. 91cm waist), and the jacket label bears a size 41 indicator (fits a Large).

  • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Clean and ready for display or wear.
