This is the highly desirable "Cut Edge" (flat edge) variant, which dates this patch to the Vietnam War era (specifically pre-1968, before the Army switched to merrowed edges). The patch is in used condition, likely removed from a uniform, adding to its historical provenance.

A true combat veteran dripping with character! Up for sale is a genuine US M1 helmet rig from the Vietnam War era. This fantastic, named set belonged to an Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3) named W. Harper. The rig consists of a 1960s-produced steel pot (McCord) paired with a Korean War era fiberglass liner (Micarta) – a classic configuration for Vietnam. The liner boasts a beautiful crazed exterior patina and an original pinned rank insignia on the front. A superb named piece ready for research!

Used MP tape on fabric backing in ERDL masking. The tape is lightly used. The letters are ironed on the tape. The letter P is slightly peeling off (can be sewn on).

Unlike standard issue gear, this was custom-tailored locally in SE Asia, a practice common among Special Forces and career officers. This specific example is in Unissued / NOS condition, retaining pristine colors and fabric stiffness – a virtually impossible find for theater-made gear.

An incredibly scarce piece of Vietnam War history: An original ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) field shirt. Unlike US gear, surviving ARVN uniforms are very hard to find. This item was sourced directly from Vietnam, adding to its provenance. It is in "Salty" / combat-worn condition, featuring holes near the collar and a missing pocket button. The sleeve shows a distinct "Ghost Patch" outline where insignia was removed. Fits like a US Small.

An exceptional piece of Marine Corps history. Authentic 1968 USMC green tunic belonging to a Master Gunnery Sergeant. Features a direct-sewn ribbon rack spanning WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, along with 6 hash marks (24 years of service). Size 36R.
