This specific piece features a beautifully legible military contract stamp on the back dating it clearly to 1962. It is in quite nice, lightly used condition with a great vintage patina. Complete with the distinctive leather tabs for securely attaching a bayonet scabbard, and the original steel slide keeper clips for belt mounting. The missing link in US tactical gear history! Up for sale is an extremely rare LINCLOE program nylon pouch designed for three 30-round M16 magazines. Introduced in 1971, it bridges the gap between M-1967 nylon gear and the ALICE system. What makes this pouch highly collectible is the unique internal design: individual retention flaps for each magazine, a feature dropped in later LC-1 pouches. This exact model is famously associated with the US Marines guarding the Saigon embassy in 1975. Unissued, New Old Stock (NOS) condition. Includes two metal ALICE clips.
